Gaza: Former Tunisian Leader Calls For A Ceasefire

Former Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki had called on Arab leaders “to use all pressure” to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, which has been undergoing intense bombardment for the last 26 days.

“The Arab people are angry, so their Governments must bear their responsibilities” to stop the bloodshed, he said.

Since the deadly Hamas attack on October 7, Israel has launched nonstop bombardment across Gaza, actions that the UN described as “disproportionate”, killing more than 8,800 people across the territory.

Over 120 people have also been reported killed in the occupied West Bank.
