GITEX Africa 2024: NITDA opens application for fully funded participation

Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency, (NITDA) is calling for applications from Nigerian startups to pitch for and win an all-expense paid participation in the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition, Africa GITEX 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco.

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) launched its 2024 Nigerian Startup Roadshow and opened applications for Nigerian startups to participate in the Pitch Competition for GITEX AFRICA, 29-31 May 2024, Marrakech, Morocco.

The Nigerian Startup Roadshow is being held with the support of partners that include the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), the Lagos State Government, the Bank of Industry, the Innovation Support Network (ISN Hubs), and the Network of Northern Incubators & Accelerators (NNIA).

The event is being facilitated by Pinnacle International Consulting, LLC (Pinnacle Global Services Limited), local representatives of the DWTC.

The 2024 Startup Roadshow is the third in the series, first held in 2022, to help create awareness about sponsorship slots and other opportunities for Nigerian startups.

DWTC are organisers of GITEX Global, the largest and most inclusive tech show in the digital economy, and GITEX Africa, regarded as the continent’s largest tech & startup event.

GITEX Africa 2024 is designed to discover the best tech startups in Africa. Winners will enjoy an all-expense paid trip to participate in the events They will be spotlighted in front of global audiences at the world’s largest tech + startup event, as well as leverage opportunities to meet founders, and investors, among others.

The roadshow will be held in Abuja, Lagos, and Kaduna, giving startups from different locations a chance to participate.
