Gombe APC unveils Candidates for LG Polls

The All Progressives Congress (APC), has unveiled its candidates for the chairmanship and deputy chairmanship positions, ahead of the 2024 Local Government Councils Election.

The list, which came out of a consensus process, was submitted to the Gombe State Independent Electoral Commission, GOSIEC and duly signed by the APC Chairman, Mr Nitte Amangal and Secretary, Mr Abubakar Umar Goro.

The names represent a list of individuals poised to lead their respective local government areas with vision and a commitment to progress in line with the development agenda of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya when given the mandate.

A statement by the APC, said the submission of candidates signified a significant step in the democratic process and in line with GOSIEC guidelines, as parties prepare to engage voters and articulate their plans for development and service delivery.

The APC said the candidates represented a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences, united by a shared commitment to advancing the interests of the people they seek to serve in the quest for a brighter future for Gombe State.
