Gombe approves healthcare enrolment of more vulnerable people

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the enrollment and revalidation of more poor and vulnerable persons under the GoHealth Equity Programme, to ensure Universal Healthcare Coverage for all residents of Gombe State.

A statement by the Gombe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency, GoHealth, urged residents of the state who are over 60 years, children below 5 years, pregnant women, persons with special needs, widows and the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, to come out get enrolled and revalidate.

The statement said the enrollment and validation would take place from December 3 to December 13, 2024.

It said the GoHealth Equity Programme provides free healthcare enrollment for the poor and vulnerable, in any of the 114 accredited Primary Health Centres.

According to the statement, interested people are requested to come with their National Identity Number, NIN slip, a valid phone number and date of birth.

It said beneficiaries who were previously enrolled in the programme should equally come with their GoHealth ID cards for revalidation.
