Gombe NSCDC Deploys 850 for Eid Al-Fitr Security

The Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 850 officers and men to ensure a hitch-free 2024 Eid Al-Fitr celebration in the state.

The Commandant, Mr. Muhammad Bello Mu’azu, issued the directive through an operational order to effectively monitor the Eid Al-Fitr celebration from April 9th to 11th, 2024.

He specifically tasked all Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, all Tactical Unit Commanders to ensure a robust security arrangement in all worship grounds for a hitch-free worship.

The commandant also ordered that the lives and property of all citizens and visitors alike be protected before, during and after the Celebration, as well as the protection of all critical assets, both public and private.

“Maintain law and order throughout the State before, during and after the Eid Al-Fitr Celebration,” Mu’azu said.

He called on members of the public to always be cautious and report any suspicious activity to the nearest security agency.
