Gombe Police Commissioner Assures Peaceful Easter Celebrations

The Commissioner of Police for Gombe State, CP Hayatu Usman, has reassured the public of the command’s commitment to ensure a peaceful and crime-free Easter celebration in the state.

“We urge everyone to be security conscious and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or call our emergency hotline,” CP Usman said.

CP Usman extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Christian community as they commemorate the joyous occasion of Easter. He urged Christians to join in prayer for the enduring virtues of peace, unity, and prosperity to prevail not only within the state but across Nigeria.

Emphasising the essence of the season, he encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of love, kindness, and compassion, particularly towards those who are less fortunate in society.
