Gombe state government sets up committee to assess reserves, cattle routes

Governor of Gombe state, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the constitution of a 25-man Committee for the assessment of Grazing, Forest and Game Reserves as well as Cattle Routes.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the governor’s approval said, “The committee was under the chairmanship of AIG Zubairu Muazu Halilu, Rtd, with Mr. Ibrahim Hussain and Rabiu Abubakar as Legal Adviser as Secretary.”
Members areHammadu Abubakar, ACP Ibrahim Bappa, Rtd, Muhammad Magaji Gettado, Colonel Abdullahi Bello, Rtd, Lamiya Simon, Ahmed Abubakar Walama, Ibrahim Musa Miyabe and ColonelSani Adamu Depsia, Rtd.
Others are: Dr. Barnabas Malle, Alh. Ali Jijji Gadam, Hon. Umar Ahmad Suleiman, Hon. Shuaibu Umar Galadima, Mr. Dauda Batari Maaji, Hon. Mamman Alkali, Surv. Zakari Abubakar Difa, Surv. Umaru Lamido, Surv. Bakari Keletuma and Modibbo Sadeeq Ahmed.
The committee also has as members; State Chairman of MACBAN, Modibbo Yahaya Gombe, State Chairman, Kautal Hore, Ardo Chindo Abubakar, State Chairman of Jode Jam, Alh. Ahmed Bello Gombe, a Representative each of Commissioner of Police, Director of Security and Commandant Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The statement said all the appointments would take effect immediately.
