Key updates include expanded AI-driven “knowledge panels” in Google Search, offering comprehensive overviews on thousands of health topics, with support for Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese queries on mobile.
A U.S.-only feature, “What People Suggest,” will use AI to aggregate advice from online discussions, aimed at providing personalised insights from user-shared experiences.
Additionally, Google introduced globally available medical records APIs for its Health Connect platform on Android.
These APIs will streamline access to medical data, such as allergies and immunisations, in standard FHIR format, connecting information across apps and devices.
