Despite the critical role of SMBs in driving economic growth across Africa, they often face significant challenges, including limited access to funding, inadequate business resources, and a lack of specialized skills.
Google’s Hustle Academy addresses these issues by offering practical training, expert mentorship, and a robust entrepreneurial network, helping SMBs overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential.
The 2025 programme will further equip entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s digital landscape.
Grant also mentioned that the new edition of the programme would build on the successes of previous years, with a continued emphasis on AI-powered business training.
Google is excited to reintroduce “Hustle Academy Brings You,” featuring inspiring stories from successful African business leaders and entrepreneurs.
The free and virtual Hustle Academy 2025 bootcamp will provide participants with comprehensive training on AI integration and core business fundamentals.
To be eligible, SMBs must have been operating for at least one year in Kenya, Nigeria, or South Africa and must be looking to expand their businesses. Participants will benefit from expert mentorship, practical case studies, and networking opportunities.
Grant concluded by expressing Google’s mission to organise the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
She emphasised that by combining practical training with inspiring stories, Google aims to provide SMBs with the tools and motivation they need to succeed.
