Governor AbdulRazaq appoints new Governing Council for Kwara University

The Kwara State Governor, North Central Nigeria, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed a new Governing Council for the state-owned Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.

Former Vice Chancellor of University of Ilorin, Professor A.G. Ambali is the chairman of the council, which has five others as members.

Other members are Professor Ibrahim Jawondo; Professor Aishetu Abdulkadir; Barrister Teju Oguntoye; Abdullahi Biogera; and Daudu Funmilayo Maryam (host community and the youth constituency).

The appointments, which was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, are to take immediate effect.
