Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his affirmation as the President of Nigeria by the Supreme Court.
The Governor gave the congratulatory remarks on Thursday at an event in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.
Adeleke said with the judicial conclusion of the disputes arising from the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria, focus on tackling the nation’s challenges ought now be everyone’s business.
Adeleke said the tone of finality brought by the pronouncement of the Apex Court signified an era of reconciliation and nation building for the whole country.
He said President Tinubu’s triumph at the Supreme Court would by all means enable him focus more on tackling Nigeria’s socio-economic and security challenges.
Governor Adeleke, while expressing his good wishes to President Tinubu on the Supreme Court victory, also pledged his commitment to work with him to move Nigeria forward.
He said: “On behalf of the good people of Osun State, I congratulate President Tinubu on his judicial victory at the apex court.
“It is my hope that your presidency will bring progress, unity, and prosperity to our nation, and I want to restate my commitment to partner you in offering good governance for our people.”
Adeleke, who lauded the Nigerian Judiciary for rising to the occasion, also commended the opposition candidates for adopting constitutional means of expressing their grievances, thereby deepening the country’s electoral jurisprudence.
