The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians across the state and beyond, urging them to embrace the season’s spirit of love, peace, and goodwill.
In his Christmas message, Governor Fintiri described the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ as a time of hope and renewal, emphasising its profound significance in fostering unity and compassion.
“Christmas is a time of rejoicing as Christians worldwide commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a moment to reflect on His messages of love and hope, particularly the command to love one’s neighbour as oneself and treat others with kindness,” he stated.
The Governor encouraged citizens to reflect on their faith and re-dedicate themselves to building a stronger relationship with God.
“Christmas is not only a time for jubilation but also an opportunity for renewal and introspection. Let us remember that the true spirit of the season lies in peace, love, and goodwill to all.”
