Governor Hails Senator Nwebonyi’s Empowerment Initiatives In Ebonyi State

The Governor of Ebonyi State in Southeast Nigeria, Mr Francis Nwifuru has described the Deputy Chief whip of the 10th National Assembly, Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi as a blessing to the State.

The Governor said Nwebonyi has reduced Youths restiveness through his numerous economic empowerment which has made most  Ebonyi Youths self reliant.

Governor Nwifuru said the hope of Ebonyi Youths have been restored since Nwebonyi became a Senator of Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone.

Nwifuru gave this accolades at Saint Micheal Catholic Parish, Mbeke Ishieke in Ebonyi Local Government Area, during the empowerment program of Senator Nwebonyi where he gave out 20 mini Buses, 20 Tricycles, 100 motorcycles and N200,000.00 cash donation to over 200 indigent students in the area to support their academic activities.

Nwebonyi also distributed Grinding machines. All these geared towards alleviating poverty in Ebonyi State.

“Earlier today the Bishop of Abakaliki Catholic Diocese, His Lordship, Peter Nworie Chukwu has commissioned three edifices which I built for the poor families among us here, I built that house to give them value.

“The house is furnished with the best material you can think about in the world. The same Television and seats  in my house that are there in their own house. It’s just to prove to people that God can do anything to people through people like us”. Nwebonyi said.

The Beneficiaries, James Nwangbo, Obinna Afinya and Nwibo Chukwuma thanked Nwebonyi for allowing God to use him to benefit humanities.
