Governor Soludo commissions projects in Anambra State

The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo has commissioned two projects in the state

The projects; road and Ultra Modern market were built by an Ozubulu born philanthropist, Chief Kenneth Ifekudu in Eziora Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking at the commissioning, Governor Soludo reiterated his administration’s emphasis on Public, Private, Community Partnership, PPCP model for grassroots development, stressing that everyone must join hands and aid government in infrastructure development.

“Anambra is praying for men that has the money and equally has the heart to use it to the benefits of their community like Nwakaibeya Ozubulu.”

He enumerated ongoing public projects being delivered by his administration in the community as well as the development of three new planned cities named Awka 2.0, Onitsha 2.0 and an Industrial City, noting that his government also prioritizes human capital development, including free education in public schools, free antenatal and delivery services, and other programmes aimed at empowering the underprivileged, reaffirming his commitment to running a government for the poor and downtrodden.

Chief Ifekudu appreciated Governor Soludo for intensifying calls on “Think home philosophy” policy, and pledged to continue supporting the Governor’s lofty visions.

“Giving back to the society has always been a culture for me, with over 600 solar lights I sponsored across Ozubulu, I have promised and will continue to do more for my people,” Chief Ifekudu stated.

He added that the Governor’s leadership motivated him to further dedicate his resources to Ozubulu, his community.

The 2.27 kilometer road is intended to help improve the road network in community and impact greatly on socio-economic activities in the community.

In addition, the new market will provide a much-needed space for buying and selling in the community.
