Governor Soludo Vows Justice for Victims of Anambra Cult Killings

Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has visited Nibo in Awka South local government area to offer his condolences to the families and community affected by the recent cult rivalry killings that took place on Sunday, 20 October 2024.

During his visit to Eke Market as part of his routine monitoring of Monday activities, Governor Soludo expressed his commitment to identifying and holding accountable those responsible for the violent act, as well as cracking down on cultism in the state.

Governor Soludo reassured the people of Anambra of their safety and well-being, promising that the perpetrators will be brought to justice regardless of where they may try to hide.

He also highlighted the need for collective action from parents, community leaders, and residents to protect the youth from the dangers of cultism, emphasising the importance of enforcing laws and promoting a safer environment for all.

Governor Soludo’s message to the people of Anambra was clear – every loss of life, especially among the youth, is a tragedy that must be prevented. By working together to combat cultism and uphold the rule of law, the state can move towards a safer and more secure future for all its residents.
