Grammy nominee Davido hints at his daily prayer focus
Nigerian Afrobeats Star, David Adeleke, best known as Davido, has dropped hints on what his daily prayer point is.
Davido revealed this in an interview with American magazine, British GQ, Davido touched on the subject of prayer.
This is the first time Davido has been nominated for three Grammy Awards.
The singer then inferred that his fans should know what he prays for everyday he wakes up seeing that he has been nominated for three Grammy awards.
The singer said, “Everybody knows what my prayer point is. Everyday I pray. I have been nominated for three Grammys; everybody knows what I am praying for everyday I wake up.”
Recall the afrobeats superstar received three Grammy nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The nominations include Best Global Album for his latest album, “Timeless.” The other two nominations are for Best African Performance for his song “Unavailable” and Best Global Music Performance for his song “Feel.”
This is the first time Davido has been nominated for three Grammy Awards.
Reacting to the nomination via his X account, Davido wrote, “3 nominations at the Grammys!! Delay is not Denial!! 🏆🌎”
The Grammy Awards, which are considered the most prestigious music awards in the world, will take place in Los Angeles on February 4, 2024.
