Edna Imade capped a dominant performance for Granada by scoring the final goal in their 5-0 rout of Deportivo de La Coruña in a Primera División Femenina week 12 clash. The match took place at the Ciudad Deportiva del Granada CF on Saturday afternoon.

Imade Continues Her Scoring Streak

Imade’s strike on the hour mark was her eighth league goal this season, putting her on par with Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas in the top scorers’ chart. Despite this, she remains second behind Ewa Pajor of Barcelona, who leads with ten goals in ten matches.

A Breakout Season for Imade

The 24-year-old Nigerian forward is in blistering form, having scored six goals in her last seven matches. Notably, she has found the net in three consecutive games against Levante Badalona, Levante, and Deportivo de La Coruña.

Imade’s eight goals this season are a personal best, surpassing the five goals she scored in her debut campaign last year.
