GTI Unveils AI Cameras For NPFL Coverage
Nigeria Professional Football League partners GTI Group has taken delivery of the revolutionary Artificial Intelligence cameras for the coverage of the league in the incoming season.
According to a statement from GTI on Tuesday, the cameras, which are to be employed in the live streaming of at least eight NPFL games every week and over 300 games per season, were unveiled by journalist Mitchell Obi.
NPFL broadcast, Propel Sports Africa, who are in charge of streaming the league matches live, has embarked on training personnel ahead of the season, which expected to begin August 27.
“During the next two weeks, Propel will train 40 Nigerians in the use of these state-of-the-art cameras, and broadcasting the matches, bringing employment, as well as enjoyment to many Nigerians,” the statement added.
The cameras will then be delivered and installed in the major stadiums across the nation.

Ten stadiums across the country have been shortlisted for the live streaming of matches in the upcoming 2023/23 season.
The stadiums are Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina; Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo; Kwara Stadium, Ilorin; Enyimba Stadium, Aba; Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano; Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos; Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin; Pantami Stadium, Gombe; Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan and Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
