The 2025 Hajj pilgrimage has been hailed as a resounding success, with Saudi Arabia achieving unprecedented levels of integration, efficiency, and service excellence. 

According to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the event showcased the Kingdom’s capabilities in managing large-scale gatherings.

– The Hajj Transport Center served as a central hub for transportation across Makkah and the holy sites.

– Electric power capacity in the holy sites increased by 75%, with investments exceeding SR3 billion ($800 million).

– Over 7,000 flights from 238 destinations were received, with 4,700 Haramain High-Speed Railway trips and 2,500 shuttle bus journeys operated.

– Hospital bed capacity expanded by over 60%, with a new emergency hospital inaugurated and 71 rapid response units deployed.

The campaign played a vital role in maintaining order, protecting pilgrims, and ensuring safe crowd management.

 Al-Rabiah emphasized its importance in reinforcing discipline and facilitating smooth flow and organizational efficiency.

Over 5,000 health volunteers participated in the Hajj season, supporting healthcare services across preventive, therapeutic, and support areas.

 This initiative aligns with the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Guests of God Service Program, launched under Saudi Vision 2030.

Advanced technology and digital platforms streamlined pilgrims’ movements and access to services. Thousands of security personnel, health workers, and volunteers were deployed to offer support, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for pilgrims.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman attended the annual reception for dignitaries and senior Islamic figures, highlighting the significance of the event.

The 2025 Hajj pilgrimage demonstrated Saudi Arabia’s capabilities in hosting large-scale events, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and service excellence.

 The Kingdom’s investments in infrastructure, technology, and volunteer efforts have set a new benchmark for future events.
