Kwara-born veteran Olympian, Hameed Adio dedicates award to Gov AbdulRazaq

Ace Sport broadcaster and former Olympian, Hameed Adio has extolled the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his efforts in developing Sports in the State.

Adio disclosed this during a Photography Ambassadorial Award 2024 organized by CAF/FIFA Accredited Photo Journalist, Abdul Momoh where he was honoured with the Veteran Sports Journalist Award in Ilorin, Kwara State, North Central Nigeria.

According to the Awardee, he is dedicating his award to Governor AbdulRazaq, “in recognition and appreciation of the giant strides he has taken to develop Sports in the State since his assumption of office in 2019.

“His developmental efforts in the Sports sector is not only visible in facility upgrade and construction but also in the opportunities offered to the youths who are the end users of these facilities to showcase their talents while discouraging them from taking part in anti social activities or getting engaged in unproductive ventures.

“It is heart warming to note that Sports under the Governor  AbdulRazaq purpose-driven administration is gradually but steadily regaining its hitherto lost glory” .he said.
