Flick is in Frankfurt, at German FA headquarters, and will soon sign a deal to replace Joachim Low after Euro 2020, news first reported by Bild and confirmed by Sky in Germany.

Bayern Munich boss, who will be replaced by Julian Nagelsmann, was one of Low’s assistants during their victorious World Cup campaign in 2014.

Flick became Bayern boss in November 2019 and won two Bundesliga titles and the 2019-20 Champions League, as well as four other trophies.

His deal is expected to run until after the 2024 European Championships, which will be hosted by Germany.
