MTN unveils Nigeria’s first Hologram Tour

Technology company, MTN Nigeria, is revolutionising the entertainment industry with Nigeria’s first-ever hologram tour.

Mrs. Ibifiri Uhuegbulem, Regional Sales Manager for the eastern region, (Fixed broad Band) says “By introducing cutting-edge holographic technology powered by 5G to the country’s entertainment scene, this pioneering initiative has pushed the boundaries of live performances.

“The hologram tour, which began in June with Praiz’s performance at Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja, has also featured some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars across the country, including Hamisu Breaker in Kano, Johnny Drille in Abuja, Slowdog in Enugu, and Qdot in Ibadan with plans to expand the fun to Port Harcourt, and Lagos.

“This is an important stage in Nigerian entertainment because hologram technology allows artists to connect with their audiences on a whole new level, surpassing geographical boundaries and engaging fans who may not have been able to attend live concerts in the past”. Uhuegbulem said.

The hologram tour, a first in Nigeria, showcases MTN’s commitment to ushering in a new era of entertainment by fusing music, art, and technology.
