The Nigerian House of Representatives is to resume plenary on Monday, November 14, 2022 as against the earlier announced date of Tuesday, November 15.
The Clerk to the House, Mr. Yahaya Danzaria, announced this in a one paragraph message to members of the House.
He said the Monday date was arrived at to enable members of the House deliberate on some urgent legislative issues.
The message to the members reads: “This is to inform all Honourable Members and the general public that the House of Representatives will resume plenary on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11 a.m, as against the November 15 earlier announced.
“This resumption is intended to attend to urgent legislative issues. All inconveniences are regretted.” It said.
The House has been on one-month break to allow Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government defend their 2023 appropriation before the various committees of the House.
