Nigeria’s Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard Doro, has called on stakeholders in the Northern Senatorial District of Plateau State to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Doro made the call at a meeting with several stakeholders in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

The Minister said President Tinubu has taken critical and tough decisions that have repositioned the country and set it on the path of economic recovery.

He expressed his appreciation to President Tinubu for the appointment and his “unwavering support” for the administration and promised to work diligently to fulfil his responsibilities.

“Let us join hands and walk together, we are capable of achieving any result if we come together. We can deliver for the APC, and we can deliver for Mr President come 2027.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is committed to showcasing visionary leadership rooted in inclusivity, progressive governance and strong institutions. President Tinubu is committed to improving the lives of all Nigerians, enabling them to experience the benefits of Renewed Hope and Democratic dividends”, he said.

Doro further appreciated the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, for his contribution in ensuring that the ministerial appointment came from the Northern Zone, saying that the government is committed to the welfare of the poor.

“The Minister assured that in the last seven to eight weeks, they have revived the ministry and repositioned it.

“Building on the foundation laid by our national chairman, we have developed clear policies that, once implemented, will make a real impact. Our desire is to see a country where no man or woman is left behind.

“I am here to assure you that, as your son, I want to make you proud by delivering on the task before me. Let us join hands and walk together,” he said.

In a related development, the Minister visited the APC State Secretariat, where he interacted with the party’s Executive Council members.

The State Chairman of the party, Hon Rufus Bature, expressed happiness with the visit of the minister and noted that such visits do not only strengthen the Exco but also encourage and promote loyalty in the party.
