I Am Not Power Thirsty – Action Alliance Presidential Candidate

The Action Alliance AA Presidential candidate Rtd Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, says he is not power thirsty.

The retired military intelligence chief made this known in an exclusive interview with Voice of Nigeria’s correspondent, Abubakar Mohammed in Abuja.

In the interview, he spoke about his love for Nigeria, responding to the yearnings of the people and his his plans to restore the Glory of Nigeria.

He said: If i have wanted during the military era, if i were to be a power thirsty type we could have change Nigeria’s political cause long ago, we could have done it with ease, ease like the way I’m talking to you, we are obedient to the laws of this country, we love Nigeria we care for this country we think for Nigeria’s welfare and well-being.

He also explained why he responded to the yearnings and aspirations from the the citizens of Nigeria both at home and in the diaspora to join the political race.

We have responded to the yearning and aspirations from the south to north, old and young all across Nigeria and diaspora to come join the race and salvage the country especially from the looming security problems we have at hand.” 

The Action Alliance AA Presidential candidate spoke about The problems facing Nigeria and how he intends to tackle them.

Relationship with the late head of state General Sani Abacha

Speaking about the relationship he had with his late Boss, General Sani Abacha, he said: “Each individual is the way he is, additional with the expectation of the oath of office, oath of commission i took from the military and i have a culture of seeing seniors as seniors indeed, our commitment and loyalty to every office we go to, is total is 100% and the late head of state discovered those characters in me.

“Professional understanding, and professional respect he gives to me as junior, because God willing you can never ever find me among those who will compromise provision of the oath of office they have taken, that will never happen. You can go to sleep if we have a responsibility.
