ICC T20 WCQ: Nigeria battles Kenya in first game
The Nigerian Men’s Cricket Team, also known as The YellowGreens, is scheduled to battle their Kenya counterpart in their first game of the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier on November 23.
According to a Circular released by Kuben Pillay of ICC Africa, the first match involving Nigeria will be played by 10 a.m. at the United Pitch.
The YellowGreens will compete in the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Africa Qualifier from November 20th to December 1st, 2023 in Namibia, featuring seven nations. The top two teams from this qualifier will secure a spot in the World Cup held in West Indies and USA.#yellowgreens pic.twitter.com/S4vAzbySXr

The YellowGreens will also battle Rwanda the following day, same time, at the Wanderers Pitch.
Nigeria will play their third game against Tanzania on Nov. 26 and they will also face Uganda the following day, according to the fixture.
They will tackle Zimbabwe while their final game will be against the Host country, Namibia on Nov. 30.
One of Nigeria’s Top umpires, Kehinde Olanbiwonnu, is among the 10 umpires selected to administer the game.
The T20 Men’s World Cup Africa Qualifier will start on Nov. 20 and end on Nov. 30.
