Iheanacho set for 165th Foxes game
Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, is poised to make his 165th appearance for Leicester City when they face Newcastle United at St James Park on Sunday (today).
The game on Tyneside will also be Iheanacho’s 163rd EPL game since he made his debut in league in the colours of Manchester City in their 2-0 win against Watford.
Iheanacho came on for Raheem Sterling in the 89th minute in that encounter.

The 25-year-old who joined Leicester City from Manchester City for a reported £25m was a late substitute in Leicester City’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace last weekend will be aiming to score his fourth EPL goal of the season in the encounter.
He has scored seven goals in all competitions so far this term with nine assist in 36 games.
Meanwhile, fresh from enjoying one of the most memorable European nights in the club’s history, Leicester City who resume Premier League action with a trip to Newcastle United on Sunday (today) afternoon will be aiming to complete a double over the Magpies.
Newcastle was subjected to a 4-0 humbling against Leicester at the King Power on December 12 and a spate of positive home results makes it seem likely that another one could be in store here for the Foxes.
Brendan Rodgers’s side got the better of PSV Eindhoven in the Europa Conference League in midweek, while the Magpies most recently saw off Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0.
