IHS Nigeria Partners with FMACCE to Digitise Nigeria’s Cultural Heritage

IHS Nigeria, a subsidiary of IHS Holding Limited and a leading telecommunications infrastructure provider in Nigeria, has announced a strategic partnership with the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy (FMACCE), and the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM), to support the digitisation of  Nigeria’s cultural heritage.

The initiative seeks to make Nigeria’s historical artefacts, artworks, and cultural monuments more accessible to the public through the creation of a digital museum.

By leveraging advanced technologies, the partnership will digitalise and display these cultural treasures online, preserving and showcasing Nigeria’s rich heritage for broader audiences.

This project represents a significant milestone in modernising the preservation and dissemination of Nigeria’s cultural assets. It is the first major undertaking under the Honourable Minister’s Digital Culture Initiative and is designed to provide a platform for exploring and appreciating the country’s diverse cultural legacy. The collaboration underscores IHS Nigeria’s commitment to sustainability, cultural preservation, and digital education.
