The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodima has assured Nigerians of credible election at the ongoing All Progressives Congress, APC primaries.
Governor Uzodima said;”the APC is known for justice, peace and equity which will be reflected in today’s primaries.”
Governor Uzodima added that the APC was ready to give Nigeria a new president.
Also the legislative Aid to the Deputy Senate President Mr. Alhanasius Iwuchukuw says there is going to be a free and fair primaries.
Mr. Iwuchukwu added that that the party would support any candidate that emerges and all stakeholders would come together to ensure that APC retained its position as the ruling party next year.
Meanwhile one of the delegates, Mrs Ann Nosike, has advised that the APC Presidential Candidate should have a wife that accommodates women.
She said; “I want the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate to be someone who has an accommodating wife and can take care of women matters across the country.”
She told Voice of Nigeria at the venue of the APC Presidential Primary that women should build a political image and background before aspiring for a big political office.
