The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, has called on the Muslim Ummah to embrace the values of sacrifice, unity, and prayer as pillars for national peace and development.
In a goodwill message, congratulating the Muslim faithful for witnessing yet another blessed Eid, Governor Fintiri encouraged them to use the occasion for deep reflection and spiritual renewal.
The Governor emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence among all citizens, describing it as the foundation for unity and sustainable development in both Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
He urged residents to continue to be their brothers’ keepers and to promote harmony across religious and ethnic lines.
Extending warm wishes to pilgrims from Adamawa State currently performing the Hajj, the Governor prayed for a successful experience at Mount Arafat and safe return home.
Also in his his message, he invoked divine protection over all citizens and prayed for continued grace to witness many more Sallah celebrations in peace, health, and prosperity.
Eid El-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command, and it remains a time of deep spiritual significance for Muslims across the globe.
