INEC Commences Continuous Voter Registration Across Ondo State

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has commenced the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Ondo State.

The exercise is being conducted in 203 wards and additional seven booths created by INEC to ease pressure on existing wards.

While monitoring the process in Akure, Ondo State capital, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola noted that the exercise would end on 5th of June.

Mrs Babalola commended the conducts of the eligible registrants in some wards

She said that the CVR was part of the lined up activities ahead of the November 16th Governorship Election in Ondo State.

She stated that the commission had put in place necessary measures to curtail any technical hitch that may appear during the CVR exercise.
