The Independent National Electoral Commission in Adamawa State has declared the results of the governorship election in the state as inconclusive.
According to the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Hudu Yunusa at the collation centre in Yola, the results are inconclusive due cancellation of votes in some wards which were more than the margin of victory between the incumbent governor, Ahmadu Fintiri and his rival Aishatu Binani of the All Progressives Congress.
