INEC Distributes Sensitive Materials To Ebonyi Ahead Bye-election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has distributed sensitive materials ahead of Saturday 3rd February, 2024 bye-election in Ebonyi South Senatorial zone.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mrs Onyeka Ugochi disclosed this during the distribution of electoral materials at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) office in Abakaliki the State capital.
The REC informed Journalists that party agents were there to witness the distribution of the materials.
“All arrangements have been made as it regards to security to move the materials to the five Local Government Areas where bye-elections are going to be held”.
She promised that the election would be free, fair and credible.
The Agents of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Joseph Nwogha, Labour Party (LP) Mr Godwin Jioke and the All Progressives Congress (APC) all affirmed that they were comfortable with the process of the distribution.
All efforts to hear from the management of CBN in the State failed.
The bye-election is scheduled to hold on Saturday 3rd February, 2024.
