He was an economist, a nationalist and a patriot …he mentored many young people in the industry.

So, it’s not just cause because he was an immediate Chairman of the NTA…its because he was one of he few people in the profession who have seen both sides of the coin, he has been a journalist who has been very critical of the government and has also been Spokesperson for the government and he retired in service to the government and the people so we can only wish him a peaceful recourse and pray to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss,he added.

The Acting Director General of the National Television Authority, NTA Mr. Saliu Abdulhameen Dembos commended the fearless attributes of Late Chief Onabule in speaking the truth through his writings.

‘He knows his job very well and will always stand by the truth, and he was very patriotic, going by his write ups, he always wanted to remind Nigerians to put the country first and though we are grieving we also should be happy he has lived a fulfilled life,’ Dembos said.
