Infrastructure Development: Former President Obasanjo lauds Governor Tambuwal

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has commended Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State for executing developmental projects that have a direct impact on the socio-economic lives of citizens.

Obasanjo made the commendation a day after he laid a foundation for the construction of a flyover at the Runjin Sambo area in Sokoto State.

According to him, Tambuwal administration is performing effectively considering the present situation of the economy, insecurity and COVID-19 pandemic.

” When you take the present situation on what I have seen going on simultaneously at the same time across the state Governor Tambuwal is doing absolutely well,” Obasanjo said.

He added that despite the level of internally generated revenue (IGR) Tambuwal manages to constructs the Modern Diagnostic Center, State University Teaching Hospital, Girls Academy, bridges, flyovers, Sports Complex and others.

” Tambuwal is a dynamic and performing Governor, I know what he’s doing not only in Sokoto but in North West and other parts of the country especially in the area of insecurity,” he added.

The Former President urged the people of the state to continue to support Tambuwal’s administration for sustainable development in the State.

Obasanjo also advised the Governor to sustain the legacies projects that will have a lasting impact on the lives of citizens and facilitate development in the State.
