The Niger State Chapter of an Islamic group, Jama’atu Izalatu Bidi’a Wa Ikamatu Sunnah has called for the immediate prosecution of bandits
The Chairman Council of Ulama of the organization, Sheikh Muhammad Sambo Rijau, made the call in Minna the Niger state capital at end of a 3–day Annual Seminar organized by the organization on the Perspective of Islam on corruption and social deterioration.
The group National Assistant Secretary, Dr Mas’ud Ibrahim Tulu, reiterated that the charge to court and prosecution of offenders will serve as a deterrent to others if the country must overcome its current security challenges.
Deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Mohammed Ketso represented by the Special Adviser to the governor, Tanko Baba Ahmed and the speaker Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdullahi Bawa Wuse both emphasized the good moral up bringing of the children and impunity at all levels to be resisted to achieve peace and success.
The guest speaker and Chairman governing board of New Gate College of Health Technology, Minna, Hassan Nuhu further called on the elites and the rich in the community on the need for business to empower the less privileged to ameliorate poverty in the country.
Participants of the workshop which was organized to enhance Islamic teaching were invited across the 25 Local Government Areas of Niger State
