Instagram has introduced several new features to improve its Direct Messaging (DM) experience, making communication more seamless and interactive for users.

The latest update includes message scheduling, pinned messages, music sharing, message translation, and group chat QR codes.

With the message scheduling feature, users can now schedule messages up to 29 days in advance, ensuring timely communication across different time zones. Additionally, the pinned messages function allows users to pin up to three important messages at the top of their chat for easy access.

Instagram has also integrated music sharing, enabling users to send 30-second music clips directly within chats, enhancing conversations with personalised soundtracks.

Another key upgrade is message translation, which now supports real-time translations in up to 99 languages, helping users communicate more effectively across language barriers.

To simplify group interactions, Instagram has introduced group chat QR codes, allowing users to invite others to join a conversation by scanning a QR code instead of adding them manually.

These new features are rolling out globally and aim to make Instagram’s messaging platform more versatile and user-friendly, reinforcing its position as a leading social media communication tool.
