Investiture ceremony of promoted Army Officials holds in Abuja

The Nigerian Army is holding the investiture ceremony for newly promoted Major Generals in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

It would be recalled that Nigeria’s Army Council last week approved the promotion of senior officers to the next ranks of Major General and Brigadier General respectively.

A total of 47 Brigadier Generals were promoted to the rank of Major General, while 75 Colonels were elevated to the rank of Brigadier General.
