Iran’s President, Ebrahim Raisi said that Iran seeks to cooperate with all countries based on mutual respect on Sunday.

He said in an address to his meeting with Simon Shercliff, Britain’s new ambassador to Iran that, “Such cooperation is also required to be free from the hegemonic system’s impact.”

The President said that the best way to cooperate with Iran is through upholding the principle of mutual respect, saying the Islamic Republic does not accept any untrue or unjustifiable remark.

He, however regretted that at present, human rights have become a political weapon for dealing blows to other countries.
