Ivorian Communities express gratitude to VON Services.

Rural Communities in Côte d’Ivoire have expressed gratitude to Voice of Nigeria’s French and Fulfulde services for its informative and educative contents and wide coverage.

 

Cote d’Ivoire Youths Activist, and ardent listener of VON’s Fulfulde service Mr Abdullahi Dikko stated this when he visited Voice of Nigeria’s Headquarters, Abuja.

 

Mr Dikko expressed appreciation for the impact of VON’s broadcasts on his community and the Fulbe race in Africa and worldwide.

 

The Fulani Youths Activist, said as a follower of VON’s programs in French and Fulfulde, the importance of the VON’s Services to the Fulani communities in Côte d’Ivoire, particularly in rural areas had grater impacts on their understanding of issues of interest to them.

 

He commended VON for providing a platform that connects Ivorians and other residents of Côte d’Ivoire to the broader African perspectives, emphasizing that VON’s contents positively impact listeners on information, education, and cultural connection.

 

Mr Dikko appealed to VON to enhance its outreach to rural audiences across Africa, who may not have access to digital platforms or smartphones.

 

He stressed the importance of maintaining traditional broadcast methods to ensure that VON’s messages reach all corners on the continent.

 

The Director General of VON, Mal Jibrin Baba Ndace, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to its mission of being the broadcaster of first choice in Africa and the world.

 

Mallam Ndace assured Mr Abdullahi Dikko that VON is determined to strengthen its pivotal role in educating and projecting the good image of Africa under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Information and National Orientation Alhaji Mohammed Idris.

 

The DG noted that efforts are underway to ensure that VON’s broadcasts continue to serve diverse audiences, including those in rural and underserved communities.

 

Mal Ndace said, as VON continues its broadcast mission, it remains committed to connecting with all listeners, ensuring that the voice of Nigeria reaches every part of the continent and beyond to promote opportunities and connect peoples.
