The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has pledged unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi, reaffirming their loyalty to the party’s leadership at both state and national levels.

The declaration was made when the APC State Executive Committee, led by Deputy Chairman Alhaji Nasiru Dahiru Jahun, paid a solidarity visit to Governor Namadi at his residence in Government House, Dutse.

The delegation included party chairmen from all 27 local government areas.

Speaking during the visit, Alhaji Jahun described Governor Namadi as the recognised leader of the APC in Jigawa and praised his administration’s “wonderful transformation and unprecedented achievements within just two years,” calling them historic in the state’s development trajectory.

He added that the party remains steadfastly behind both Governor Namadi and President Tinubu, endorsing their leadership and expressing confidence in their vision for the country.

Jahun also warned that the APC in Jigawa would not hesitate to sanction any member whose actions undermine the party’s unity or show disrespect to its leadership.

“Our loyalty to the governor is like that of the comical character ‘Maha’ to his teacher without objection. Whatever Malam says, we will do, and wherever he directs us, we will follow,” he said.

In his response, Governor Namadi expressed gratitude for the show of solidarity and pledged continued cooperation with the party leadership.

He reaffirmed his commitment to fairness and inclusiveness in dealing with all party members across the state.

The governor emphasised that both the federal and state governments under the APC remain focused on delivering people-oriented policies and developmental projects.

He noted that his administration’s 12-point agenda aligns closely with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, highlighting their shared commitment to sustainable development and citizens’ welfare.
