Joker 2 To return big Screens In October 2024

The sequel ‘Joker 2’ will be hitting the big screens on October 4, 2024, that is five years after releasing its first film ‘Joker,’

This is according to an exclusive report by Deadline.

Thou this is coming hours after Warner Bros Discovery says it would not be releasing Batgirl. The sequel to the mega-hit comic book will be released on its fifth anniversary of the first film.

The movie when it was released in October 2019 had a big opening weekend at the box office which stood at $96.2 million. It legged out to $335.4M domestic and globally it is the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever at $1.07 billion.

Joker won two Oscars; Best Actor for the lead actor, Joaquin Phoenix and Original Music Score for Hildur Guðnadóttir’s. The movie was nominated for 11 Oscars including Best Picture and Phillips for Best Director.
