The Government of the State of Osun has assured the people that the June 12 celebration will be peaceful without hitches or breakdown of law and order.
In a release by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, Govermor Adegboyega Oyetola expressed its commitment to ensuring the maintenance of law and order and the protection of lives and property even as the celebrate the Democracy Day.
“As far as June 12 celebrations are concerned, the State Government assures the good people that Osun is a safe state and will remain so. Our security agents will continue to work together to keep our citizens safe before, during and after June 12,” he said.
While wishing the people a joyous June 12 celebrations, Oyetola urged the people to go about their economic and social activities without any fear whatsoever.
