Kaduna base entrepreneur lunches a mega recycling company to tackle waste pollution

A private own  Company known as scrapped  processing and compose integrated recycling Company in Kaduna, has kick-start its full operation with the sole aims of tackling plastic waste which include solid and liquid in order to save the environment against further spread of waste on the street, Gutter, streams, ponds and Rivers.

The chief executive officer of the company, Shehu Usman explained that the company is fully ready toward recycling all huge volume of waste and other garbage that is capable of causing Flood, health challenges, pollution and environmental disaster.

According to him the company has in place many recycling machine that can face all kind of trash and garbage’s polluting the environment, while transforming them for other uses.

The company has engaged hundreds scavengers and trashed dealers across the north for the supply of waste for the sole aims of re-using them.

Shehu note that, Prenticing, crushing and washing machine for recycling plastic waste has been put in place for the success and smooth operation.

“Turning waste to cash is our focus and our target is to wipe out all the waste and garbage on the street and other trash dump center across the north, so as to find ways of re-using them for domestic uses and other purposes.

“Many youth and women were engaged into the processing of all the waste materials.

“We are fully in support of government toward waste management and recycling of waste to wealth in Kaduna state.

“We want our locally made in Nigeria to be competing with international standard,” he added.

Responding the representative ministry of environment Usman Mohamed lawal, Director of Public and laboratory services expressed that it is a great development for Kaduna state and Nigeria at large.

He said that the company would support the state toward reducing huge tones of daily waste that are capable of contributing to environmental problems in the state.

According to him, there are millions of plastic waste in the rivers and have contributed immensely in polluting the environment and killing of marine animals.

He stressed on the need for all recycling companies to immensely join hands toward saving human, animals and other living organism in the environment.

Mohammed Zakari, representative of African Climate reporters, emphasized on the need for state and federal government to support big and small recycling companies so as to strengthening their Capacity, in order to enhance their efficacy.

He said lack of steady electricity, insecurity and lack of patriotism by Nigerians has contributed toward closing down of many industries and companies.

“This is the biggest plastic recycling center that he has ever seen in the northern Nigeria, and equally the one with the largest number of workers

“Recycling is one of the most important steps towards the reduction of pollution, and it is fun too, especially when done in groups,” Zakari said.

He urged Nigerians to halt dumping trashed in the gutter so as to curtail further spread of water-borne diseases, flood poisoning and other environmental disaster
