Kaduna State government will hold it’s second edition of the Economic and Financial Inclusion Summit with the theme ‘Expanding Financial Access for Sustainable Development’.
The one day summit, which is in furtherance of the Governor’s executive order, aims to deepen financial access, enhance financial literacy, foster digital transformation, strengthen SME financing, empower marginalised groups, and institutionalise financial inclusion efforts.
This was made known to newsmen in Kaduna by Ibrahim Mohammed, Commissioner of Finance and Chairman, Kaduna State Financial Inclusion Committee.
According to him, the keynote address at the summit would be delivered by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, while Governor Uba Sani would deliver an address on the state of financial inclusion in the state.
He said high-level presentations would be delivered by the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion, the Central Bank of Nigeria, and the Gates Foundation.
