Kaduna State Assembly impeaches majority leader

The Kaduna State House of Assembly has on Wednesday impeached its majority Leader Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa popularly known as “Mabo” member representing Doka gabasawa constituency at the State Assembly.

The decision followed the passage of a vote of no confidence against him by the members of the ruling party( APC)

Adding that  17 members of the ruling party have signed the impeached letter.

Speaking with journalist shortly after the plenary, chairman house committee on information Tanimu Musa said it is the decision of the house to impeach him and the house has passed a vote of no confidence by the members.

Tanimu said that “Mabo was unanimously removed by the members of the assembly, the simple reason is that vote of no confidence was passed against him from the members of the assembly” 

He, therefore, said, Mabo remains impeached and the house would soon announce the new majority Leader.
