Kaduna State Governor swears-in new SSG, others

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has sworn in Alhaji Balarabe Lawal as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Sani also swore in Malam Sani Liman as Chief of Staff and Mrs Habiba Shekarau as the state Head of Civil Service.

He charged them to focus on rural development as that is the priority of his administration.

The governor expressed confidence that they would add value to his administration and assist in stabilising the state for greater development.

Sani gave the assurance that his administration would concentrate on the development of the rural areas by improving the rural economies through massive infrastructural development.

The governor expressed commitment to delivering his seven-point agenda by ensuring safety and security, upgrade of infrastructure, and strengthening institutions, trade and investment, among others.

He also enjoined the new appointees to deploy their wealth of experience to ensure effective service delivery.

“I charge you all to deploy your wealth of experience to ensure effective service delivery,” he said.

Besides, he urged them to be disciplined, loyal and committed to their duties, saying that all hands must be on deck to take the state to greater heights.

 Sani congratulated the appointees, wishing them Allah’s guidance and protection while discharging their duties.
