The Executive Secretary of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Yusuf Arrigasiyyu has called on intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state by being law-abiding while in Saudi Arabia.

He made the call at the end of the Agency’s ten weeks pilgrims’ orientation exercise in Kaduna.

According to Arrigasiyyu, intending pilgrims across the state had received lectures on hajj rituals and therefore, enjoined them to make self-appraisal of their relationship with Allah as their actions and inactions are judged according to their intentions.

Speaking further, the ES said one of the important tasks of the Agency is to sufficiently educate and enlighten intending pilgrims.

“We have done our job by educating pilgrims, it is now the responsibility of the pilgrims to diligently abide and carry out the Hajj rites accordingly.”

He thanked all stakeholders, particularly the state government and other scholars, who contributed immensely to the success of the exercise.

Kaduna state intending pilgrims are expected to start the outward journey to the holy land from the 30th of May, 2023 aboard Azman Airline.
