The Kaduna State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), has congratulated the new Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani and his Deputy, Hadiza Balarabe.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Council Chairman and Secretary, Comrades Asma’u Halilu and Gambo Sanga, they described the emergence of Sani as a sign of good tidings that will usher in genuine transformation, peaceful coexistence and renewed hope for the citizens of Kaduna State.
The statement also expressed confidence on the ability, capability and genuine intentions of the new administration in the state towards a more vibrant socioeconomic and political prosperity.
The Kaduna Council of NUJ however implored the new administration to carry every section of the state along in the execution of its developmental policies and programs, while also intensifying efforts towards addressing the insecurity challenges bedevilling some parts of the state.
The statement further enjoined citizens in the state to support and pray for the new administration to succeed in its developmental agenda, adding that the new APC-led administration should be encouraged and appreciated in her solemn declaration to be fair and just to all manner of people irrespective of ethnic, religious and political affiliation.
According to the statement, there is also the need for traditional and religious leaders in the state to compliment the new administration efforts towards reuniting people in the state through good moral teachings for societal growth.
