A new Speaker has emerged for the Kano State House of Assembly following the resignation of the former early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly, Hon. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari emerged the new Speaker.
Similarly, Zubairu Hamza Masu from Sumaila local government area emerged the new Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.
The former Speaker AbdulAziz Garba Gafasa in his letter to the house resigned on personal ground.
The House Majority Leader, Kabiru Hassan Dashi also resigned his position without giving any specific reason.
Abdul Labaran Madari emerged the House Majority Leader.
